Inclusive Schools Toolkit
Creating safe, affirming schools starts with understanding and action. FreeState Justice's Inclusive Schools Toolkit offers essential resources for students, educators, and anyone who cares about making academic spaces more welcoming and supportive. From easy-to-understand LGBTQ+ terminology to practical steps for creating inclusion, this toolkit helps schools respect and protect every student’s identity. It also outlines the rights Maryland students have when it comes to their gender and sexual orientation, information that is important for youth to have now more than ever!

PFLAG Baltimore is a Maryland-based chapter of the national PFLAG organization, dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth, their families, and allies. Through monthly meetings, educational programming, and community advocacy, PFLAG Baltimore creates affirming spaces where people can connect, learn, and stand up for LGBTQ+ inclusion across the region.
GLSEN
GLSEN Maryland is a grassroots initiative, working locally in our community to ensure safe schools for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. The Maryland chapter Our chapter supports students and educators locally, organizes around LGBTQ-affirming public policy, plans teacher trainings, and hosts events for students, educators, parents, and allies.
