For LGBTQ+ individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability, it can be hard to locate a shelter that is welcoming and respects your identity. Through our Resource Navigation program, FreeState Justice helps connect people with LGBTQ-affirming shelters and transitional housing programs across Maryland.

Housing Discrimination Advocacy


LGBTQ+ people are protected under fair housing laws, but they still face discrimination at alarming high rates. If you’ve been denied housing, are being harassed by a landlord, are being treated unfairly because of your identity, or any other issue FreeState Justice is here to help.
